Now you can have turkey and make it boost your metabolism instead of slowing you down, with this Turkey Quinoa Meatloaf (skinny version):
This meatloaf will help you fight belly fat as its full of metabolism boosting, blood sugar stabilizing veggies, quinoa, and egg, so you will get a great protein boost without the bloat of eating too much meat.
To make the loaf you will need:
- 500g Ground Turkey Thigh
- 1C Cooked Organic Quinoa
- 1 yellow onion(grated)
- 3 Free range eggs(beaten)
- 2 Organic Carrots(grated)
- 2Tbsp Ginger(grated)
- 1Tbsp Sage powder
- 2Tbsp Rosemary(fresh) chopped or ground in coffee grinder
- 1 Tsp Antarctic Sea Salt(or other natural salt with minerals)
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until thoroughly blended, then press into pan. Sprinkle top of loaf with more rosemary and sea salt.
Bake Loaf at 425 degrees for about 40 mins or until middle of turkey is fully cooked (use meat thermometer)
Serve with steamed Collard greens and freshly squeezed lemon(lots!), 1/2c baked yams with 1 tsp of butter(baked at the same time) and fresh dandelion leaves for a very filling, slimming, home cooked meal that will satisfy your comfort food craving.. and the whole family!
